Transforming hair care
Sage+Mane once looked a little different. It began as Saints & Sinners in a tiny two-chair studio in Mebane, founded by Marcie Kowalski. Marcie had a big vision for what was to come. In 2024, Avery joined and the business moved into a bigger space — at that point, growth had begun. Now known as Sage+Mane, the salon’s new location is in a bustling business area with wonderful neighbors. The team continues to expand and has become one of the most successful salons in the area. We have more than six team members (and growing) and a new beautiful salon space opening in Spring 2026.
A modern approach
Sage+Mane has always strived to be a salon where all are welcome, where the client experience matches the work we put out but most importantly a place where our staff feels valued, heard and supported, all while encouraging a great work life balance. We are a relationship based salon, with both each other as well as our clients. Each Stylist is an independent artist, working in a collaborate team environment.
